A ceremony rededicating the cornerstone was held on June 12, 2018, in honor of the 100^th year since the cornerstone laying in 1918. The event featured friends of the Hebrew University from Israel as well as from around the world, who brought gifts in tribute to the University's success and growth of the last 100 years.

During the ceremony, the University's administration placed a scroll with their vision for the University's next 100 years in a time capsule.
